ONSITE REGISTRATION
Onsite registration will open on Monday, December 4, 2023, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas and will remain open on the following schedule:
Monday, December 4: 12- 6 p.m.
Tuesday, December 5: 7 a.m.- 6 p.m.
Wednesday, December 6: 7 a.m.- 6 p.m.
Thursday, December 7: 7 a.m.- 6 p.m.
Friday, December 8: 7 a.m.- 6 p.m.
Saturday, December 9: 7 a.m.- 12 p.m.
REGISTRATION OPTIONS
Multiple registration options are available for the 2023 SABCS Symposium. Both in-person and virtual registration packages include access to live sessions, Q&A, networking, CME/MOC credits, and more.
IN-PERSON MEETING REGISTRATION (INCLUDES VIRTUAL MEETING)
The following items are included with in-person registration:
- Admission to all live scientific sessions
- Admission to the poster hall and live poster presentation
- Access to the SABCS 2023 App
- Access to the virtual meeting platform and all on-demand sessions through March 31, 2024
- Ability to submit questions to session speakers through a mobile application
- Admission to the exhibit hall, spotlight theaters, and other exhibitor events
- Admission to Satellite Educational Symposia (separate complimentary registration required)
- Admission to the Career Development sessions on Saturday, December 9, 2023 (separate complimentary registration required)
- Opportunity to claim CME/MOC credits
- Daily continental breakfast
- Daily coffee breaks and light refreshments in the Exhibit Hall
- Complimentary beverages and light refreshments during Poster Sessions
- Complimentary shuttle service between hotels and convention center
- Certificate of Attendance
VIRTUAL MEETING REGISTRATION
In 2023, SABCS has included reduced rates for the virtual meeting. The following items are included with virtual registration:
- Access to live streamed sessions on the virtual meeting platform
- Access to virtual poster presentations (PDFs with optional audio)
- Access to the virtual meeting platform and all live and on-demand sessions through March 31, 2024
- Access to the SABCS 2023 App
- Ability to submit questions to session speakers through the virtual meeting platform
- Opportunity to claim CME/MOC Credit
- Certificate of Attendance

Please Note: Paying the abstract submission fee does not constitute registration for the meeting.
Registration submitted without full payment cannot be processed and attendees will not be registered until full payment is completed. Government or other purchase orders cannot be accepted. All fees must be paid in U.S. currency drawn on a U.S. bank. Payments may be made via credit card or check. If paying by check, please make payable to:

Due to liability restrictions and concerns, children under the age of eighteen years of age may not participate in any part of the Symposium.
There are no daily or partial registrations rates available.
To register online, please click here. Book your hotel first in order to receive a 15% discount off the registration fee for individual attendees. The hotel name and acknowledgement number are required to receive the 15% discount. The 15% registration discount does not apply to late registrations after October 27, 2023.

In 2023, SABCS is providing discounted registration options for virtual attendees based on their geographic location. Discounted rates are calculated based on the World Bank Group country classifications by income level for FY24 (July 1, 2023- June 30, 2024). ELIGIBILITY FOR REGISTRATION AS A PATIENT ADVOCATE
The patient advocate registration category is reserved exclusively for patient advocates and is not intended for medical professionals. Individuals interested in registering under this category either work or volunteer for national not-for-profit patient advocacy organizations that demonstrate a charitable mission, engage in patient advocacy activities, provide support for people with cancer, have a nonprofessional membership, do not offer CME or scientific programs for professionals and do not have an AACR Active or Associate Membership. Individuals registered under this category are not eligible to receive continuing education credit for their attendance. If you are registering as a Patient Advocate, you will be required to upload your proof of status during the registration process.
ELIGIBILITY FOR REGISTRATION AT AACR MEMBER RATES
AACR Members will be required to enter their AACR membership ID number to receive a discount off the REGULAR registration rates. Only individuals who are current with their dues payment and listed on the membership rolls at the time of registering, will be accorded the privilege of registering for the discounted rate for the 2023 SABCS. If upon review of membership application, a candidate is deemed ineligible for the membership category to which they have applied, then the candidate will need to register in advance at the relevant category based on the applicant’s status (i.e., Regular rate, Resident, Postdoctoral Fellow, Student, etc.)
CONFIRMATION
SABCS will email confirmations to fully paid registrants immediately following completion of online registration. If you do not receive your confirmation within 24 hours of completion, please contact us at sabcs-support@cmrus.com.
WELCOME LETTER
If you are traveling to the symposium from outside the United States and require a visa or a letter for your institution/university, SABCS wishes to support your efforts to secure the needed travel documentation to attend the symposium. The Welcome Letter is part of the registration process. Individuals who require an entry visa should register, pay, and access their Welcome Letter in their registration confirmation well in advance of the symposium to allow sufficient time to complete the application process.
Welcome Letters can be downloaded through the link provided in your registration confirmation. SABCS is not able to contact Embassies in support of an individual attempting to gain entry into the United States to attend the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium.
REGISTRATION CHANGES / MEETING CANCELLATION POLICIES
Registered participants may change their registration selection between the in-person or virtual meetings at any time without penalties or change fees. However, registration fee may change based on applicable rates. All modifications to registration should be completed by November 3, 2023.
Cancellations must be received in writing no later than November 17, 2023, and are subject to the following processing fees:
- Regular Registration, AACR Member Registration, and UT Health San Antonio Staff and Faculty Registration: $75 cancellation fee
- Resident or Postdoctoral Fellow Registration and Student Registration: $20 cancellation fee
Refunds will not be granted for requests received after November 17, 2023, nor will they be granted for no-shows. Please email cancellation requests to sabcs-support@cmrus.com.
All registration cancellations and refunds will be processed in the same manner as original payment.
Please Note: Canceling your meeting registration does not automatically cancel your hotel reservation. Hotel reservations must be canceled separately.
CREDENTIALS
All advance registrants for the in-person registration option will receive a confirmation via email for badge pickup immediately after registering and again approximately one week prior to the start of the conference. Please bring this notice with you to the SABCS Symposium 2023, and you may proceed to the Pre-Registered counters for fast pickup of your registration credentials. Your badge will provide you with access to the scientific sessions as well as the exhibit floor.
GROUP REGISTRATIONS
Group registrations will be available for the 2023 SABCS Symposium on July 12, 2023. Visit the Group Registration page on the SABCS website for registration information.

EXHIBITOR REGISTRATIONS
Exhibitor registrations will be available for the 2023 SABCS Symposium beginning August 21, 2023. Visit the Exhibitor page on the SABCS website for registration information.
National Provider Identifier (NPI) (for USA MDs only): The 2010 Federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) requires most of our exhibitors to log encounters in their exhibit booth with US physicians by collecting each NPI. In order to assist our exhibitors in this task SABCS will incorporate the number in the bar code on each US provider’s Symposium badge.
Please note that the NPI is required in order for USA MDs to complete their Symposium registration, whether registering as an individual or part of a group registration.
