Different format, same great programming

The 43rd San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium will be one of a kind thanks to a pandemic, but the great content, information, and expert presentations you have come to expect will still come standard.

Content for this year’s event includes the relatively new Oxford-style debate and the mini-symposia.

The topic of this year’s debate is “All breast cancer patients should have germline genetic testing.” Mark Robson, MD of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York will argue for the topic. Susan Domchek, MD of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, will argue against. Judy E. Garber, MD, MPH of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston will moderate.

In an Oxford-style debate, the audience is polled regarding its position on the topic. There is another poll at the end of the debate to see who was most persuasive.

The debate will be Friday, Dec. 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Central Standard Time (GMT -06:00).
