Researchers from across the globe will attend the 41st annual San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium® (SABCS®) Dec. 4-8 with the help of scholarships awarded through SABCS and co-sponsor, the American Association of Cancer Research (AACR).
Thirty scholarships were awarded to poster and spotlight session presenters from San Antonio to Shanghai. SABCS presented five Basic Science Scholar Awards, five Clinical Scholars Awards and AACR presented 10 Associate Member Awards. All will be presenting starting Dec. 5.
Scholarships for attending SABCS have been awarded since before the turn of the century. The goal is to encourage and aid researchers who are early in their career, in getting their work seen and disseminated.
