It's back! Duck Pluck returns for 2025

In 2024, SABCS premiered a fun raffle event to raise money for scholarships for Early Investigators to attend the 2025 symposium.

The Duck Pluck had attendees purchase a rubber duck for a chance to win. The ducks were then placed in a pond connected to the River Walk and fished out, with 10 winners chosen.

Attendees had so much fun with the event we raised thousands of dollars for scholar awards.

Now Duck Pluck is back and it will be easier than ever to participate. SABCS registration opens July 16 and you will be able to purchase your ducks on the online registration form (in-person registrations only). Just pick out how many ducks you want to purchase at $10 each, and the cost will be added to the registration fee you are paying.
