Partridge receives AACR Outstanding Investigator Award for breast cancer research


Ann Partridge, MD, MPH received the 2018 AACR Outstanding Investigator Award for Breast Cancer Research, funded by the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, at the 2018 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium.

She received the award just before presenting her lecture, “Breast Cancer in Young Women: Understanding Differences to Improve Outcomes.”

Partridge is a professor of medicine at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. Through a developmental research cohort, she has characterized many of the complex medical and psychological challenges facing young women with breast cancer.

She is being recognized for her work with young women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and research that has paved the way for future research in better understanding this population.
