SABCS enters agreement with the Society of Surgical Oncology
The San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium® (SABCS®) is pleased to announce an agreement with the Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO) that will bring surgical oncology content to SABCS19.
The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, the founding organization of SABCS, has invited SSO to enter into a memorandum of understanding to provide this content to the annual symposium. SSO will provide programming input and SSO member Elizabeth Mittendorf, MD, PhD of Brigham and Women’s Hospital Boston will serve on the SABCS program planning committee.
SSO will also host an educational session Dec. 10 led by Armando E. Giuliano, MD. Dr. Giuliano is the Linda and Jim Lippman Chair in Surgical Oncology at Cedars Sinai in Beverly Hills, California.
SSO is also encouraging members to submit abstract for consideration. Abstracts will be accepted through July 8. More information is available here.
SABCS19 will be Dec. 10-14 in San Antonio.
