Talk Length:

10 minutes for presentation, 5 minutes for discussion. You will not be given extra time for acknowledgements. Please keep your acknowledgements to a minimum. This can be accomplished by showing the information on a slide.

Presentation Review:
|
Presentations must be in electronic format and be sent for review
no later than October 31, 2011. Email your presentation to Sara Vasquez at Vasquezs3@uthscsa.edu, drafts are accepted provided that your finalized presentation be sent to us before your presentation. Please contact Sara Vasquez if you are not able to send your presentation before the deadline and to make alternate arrangements.

Preview your Presentation:
|
Your presentation will be available for preview in the Speaker Lounge on the Concourse Level, room 216A. Signs will be posted to direct you. Please meet with SABCS technicians the day prior to your scheduled presentation to preview your presentation. This will help insure that your presentation will proceed smoothly. Technicians will be available to assist with any compatibility or formatting issues. If any changes/updates are made to your presentation after they have been reviewed please bring them onsite on a Jump/Flash Drive or CD-ROM.

No-Show Policy:
|
If for any reason your presentation must be cancelled, notify the symposium office as early as possible [E-mail sabcs@uthscsa.edu, FAX 210-450-1560, or phone 210-450-1550] before Friday, December 2 . After that date, contact the office by e-mail only. Be sure to mention your assigned program number which appears at the top of your acceptance letter. Failure to notify will result in activation of the No-Show Policy stated in the Abstract Submission Guidelines.

With your permission, your presentation will be made available on line for viewing and download within 24 hours of your presentation. Presentations will also be included in the streaming webcast made available after the symposium concludes. Please be sure that you have completed the permissions portion of your abstract submission correctly so that we can comply with your preference regarding reproduction of your presentation. Permission forms regarding the slide viewer, webcast & podcast will also be offered when you come to the Speaker Lounge at the symposium.

REGISTRATION & HOUSING
Don't forget to register to attend the meeting. You may register on-line. If you prefer fax or mail, click here to view a registration form. Pre-registration discount ends October 31. REGISTRATION CLOSES NOVEMBER 18 AND RESUMES AT THE SYMPOSIUM ON DECEMBER 6 . Symposium badges will be mailed to preregistrants. Upon arrival at the symposium, please present your badge in order to receive symposium materials and badge holder.
