All poster presenters are required to upload their poster(s) to the online Call4Posters® poster reproduction service at http://www.call4posters.com/sabcs/This service is absolutely FREE!  Call4Posters® can also produce, print and ship your poster directly to the symposium for free. This simple, convenient online service is completely underwritten by SABCS.  It allows you to produce a poster or upload a completed poster.  PLEASE NOTE: Even if you prefer not to utilize the production service, SABCS still requires that your poster file be uploaded.

If we have received your permission, printed reproductions will be available at the symposium. Posters will be made available on line at the conclusion of each day of the symposium. Please be sure that you have completed the permissions portion of your abstract submission correctly so that we can comply with you preference regarding reproduction of your poster.

SCHEDULE AND INSTRUCTIONS

  • All posters must be posted according to the Poster Schedule.  The 1st digit of your assigned program number indicates the poster session to which it is assigned (for example, #101 would be presented in Poster Discussion Session 1).
  • Posters will remain on display through the day regardless of time of presentation.
  • You are required to attend your poster for the first hour of the presentation.
  • Approximately one hour after the beginning of each session, presenters and attendees will begin discussion.  Appointed discussants will summarize and comment on the posters, followed by questions and discussion with the presenters.  You will not be required to bring any slides or to give an oral summary of your work, but should be prepared to take part in the discussion and answer any questions.
  • Please remove your poster at the end of the day (approximately 7:00 pm).  NOTE: If you are unable to remove it personally, please arrange for someone else to do so.  Do not leave it up after the session is over.  All posters left after the afternoon session is over will be removed and destroyed.
  • If your travel schedule does not permit you to set up your poster on time or to be present during your assigned session, please notify the symposium office at sabcs@uthscsa.edu.

NO-SHOW POLICY
If for any reason your presentation must be cancelled, notify the symposium office as early as possible [E-mail sabcs@uthscsa.edu, FAX 210-450-1560, or phone 210-450-1550] before Friday, December 2.  After that date, contact the office by e-mail only.  Be sure to mention your assigned program number which appears at the top of your acceptance letter.  Failure to notify will result in activation of the No-Show Policy stated in the Abstract Submission Guidelines.
