SABCS participants & exhibitors, past & present, are being contacted by companies who misidentify themselves as offering housing for SABCS . DO NOT RESPOND TO ANY CONTACTS FROM THESE COMPANIES. Many are attempting to capture your credit card information and will not actually reserve a room. Others will switch your reservation to a substandard hotel. Neither SABCS nor its housing

The following companies misidentify themselves as having rooms in SABCS hotels.
- Exhibitors Housing Services or EHS: The contact may be either through a telephone call or an e-mail. Please see http://www.scambook.com/company/view/129876/EHS-Exhibitors-Housing-Services for further information.
- A company known as HICORD has posted a website purporting to be SABCS. They are collecting not only hotel reservations but also conference registrations. Do not send any information. This company and their website are in no way affiliated with SABCS. HICORD is associated with several other companies such as HI Destination Management, Holiday India and many more, all based in India and all misidentifying themselves as offering hotel rooms and/or registration. Their operators contact people worldwide, including in the USA.
The following companies fraudulently represent themselves as having rooms in SABCS hotels.

Individual: November 16, 2018
Reserve your room at one of the official 2018 SABCS hotels while discounted hotel rooms are available. All housing reservations must be completed by this deadline to receive discounted hotel rates, so don’t delay! Book your hotel today to secure one of your top hotel preferences. All rates are based on the number of people staying in room and are subject to 16.75% occupancy tax (subject to change). Special requests cannot be guaranteed; however, the hotels will do their best to honor all requests. Hotels will assign specific room types upon check-in, based on availability. Reservations are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
Group Room Block Requests:
Rooming lists must
be entered via Online Room Block Management by October 19, 2018
A credit card along with an expiration date, valid during the time of
stay, or an advance deposit of two nights room & tax per room paid by check
must be received within 30 days of confirmation of your group block. Total room
block initial deposits become non-refundable after June 5, 2018. Non-refundable
full payment of Total Room Nights is due on or before October 5, 2018.
An acknowledgement of your hotel reservation will be sent to you immediately via email upon completion of the online process or within 3-5 business days for reservations received via phone, fax or mail. If you do not, please contact SABCS Housing Bureau.
No charges are incurred at the time of booking, however, a payment guarantee is required to hold your reservation in the amount of two night's stay at the confirmed hotel plus current tax of 16.75%, subject to change. The hotel will charge deposit up to 30 days prior to arrival to the credit card provided. Please refer to your confirmation for full details, which may vary per hotel.
Guarantee with Check: Check payments must be received in the 2018 SABCS Housing Office by no later than October 29, 2018. Two nights room rate plus tax (currently 16.75%, subject to change) will be required to guarantee check deposit reservations. Mail checks to 2018 SABCS Housing (Attn: Orchid Events), 175 S. West Temple, Suite 30, Salt Lake City, UT 84101 USA. After October 29, 2018, please make checks payable to your confirmed hotel to be mailed or presented upon arrival.
Changes/Cancellations (for Individuals)
Continue to use the 2018
Housing Bureau for changes and cancellations through November 16 2018. Please

Beginning November 17, 2018, changes and
cancellations must be directed to your confirmed hotel. The hotel will apply a
non-refundable two night's room and tax deposit any time after November 16,
- Special Note: Cancellations received within 48 hours of arrival
date will result in full forfeiture of the total value of the reservation.
